" I had my surgery in Thailand because my partner and I love Thailand, and the cost of New Zealand for a two night stay in hospital plus weeks of awful Optifast before and after surgery really put me off. Being added to the Facebook group really helped me make my decision to go with Thailand. We got a three week holiday plus flew business class and did some awesome shopping all for less than it would have cost back home! We probably saved a good 4-5k doing it in Thailand. " - Stacey's 

" My surgeon was Dr. Ithipon and he was great! Of course there are some language barriers but being polite and patient is key. Plus there are apps like Google Translate that you can have a verbal conversation in which makes life easy too. The nurses were very accommodating and helpful with whatever I needed. " - Stacey's

"MBK and Siam Paragon both have these fantastic supermarkets that you can pick your salad portions! Great for after surgery. Siam Paragon has a gourmet market which I highly recommend visiting to find your ‘last cheat meal’ haha. In MBK on the ground floor by the escalators (near KFC) there is a great T-Shirt shop that sells bigger sizes for cheap ($10-$15NZD each) if you are wanting to bring gifts back or get something for yourself! Go and try the Dr. Fish treatment on the ground floor of MBK too. Opposite the escalators and down a small set of stairs, opposite a food court. Feels crazy but your feet feel awesome afterwards! Haha. Also the Miso soup and Pork soup in hospital are the best before you go onto solids " - Stacey's
