"I’m currently in Bangkok having my surgery, I have 5 days left of my 1-month stay here. This was an FB Live video I did on my fly-out day to Bangkok.
Anyone who is considering having the surgery I can’t recommend it enough.
It’s life-changing for all the right reasons. I had a lot of surgery and I did it without a support person, there were days of crying, days of overwhelm, and many many days of sincere appreciation for the people I met who cared for me. Nurses, interpreters, doctors, the amazing DB staff, and of course the incredible other patients whom you meet on the ward or at breakfast who get you through daily.
Thankful I allowed myself to do this, I’m not rich, and I didn’t know how I could create the money/time off to make the surgery happen but I did and you can too if it’s something you want. Ask DB, get in contact with them they will help you: - Michelle.
