" I saw on my Facebook feed [Emily Dodd](https://news.destinationbeauty.com/blog/emily-weight-loss-journey-in-bangkok-gastric-sleeve-surgery-0-0) and how much weight she lost with destination beauty. At first I scrolled past and ignored it. Then when I’d log onto Facebook Destination Beauty and Emily’s weight loss surgery story kept coming up on my Facebook news feed. I decided to click on the link and find out what Destination Beauty was all about. I was 125 kilos I felt like a was a prisoner in my own body. I needed help I did diet’s took weight loss pills. However it wasn’t sustainable the weight kept creeping back. I knew I needed medical intervention I spoke to my doctor about gastric sleeve surgery. When I saw the way destination beauty operated I knew I was in safe hands. I really felt that it was the right decision to make and I’m glad I did I have no regrets." - Lauren's  ## Lauren's experience with Destination Beauty  "I couldn’t fault the service I was treated with respect and dignity. The nurses the staff the doctors were terrific they made me feel as comfortable as possible. I would recommend anyone to have surgery in Thailand. I didn’t have to wait it or serve 12 months of private health I was able to access my superannuation and be operated on quickly and recover in a lovely serviced apartment. I loved it I would honestly say if your not sure about the surgery do it for you your health you gain so much. I would come back to Thailand for surgery in the future once covid restrictions are eventually lifted." - Lauren's    ## Next Steps Towards a Weight Loss Surgery, How Much Does It Cost?
