How was your experience with Destination Beauty?
Back in 2019, I had gastric sleeve with Dr. Ithiphon. He was very good, he explained things to me thoroughly , before and after the procedure. This year with Dr. K for my skin removal , he was amazing , he visited me the day of all my surgery’s drawing me up and explaining where the cuts will be etc … he asked about what shape and size I wanted for my breasts , I originally said 400 cc , he said that that would be to big for me ( I forget I have a much smaller frame now) and explained that going to big would mean that I’d have to come back in a few years as they would drop again , and as I was getting a lift it would bring them up and perkier anyways , as I did not want to come back in just a few short years , I decided to leave it to Dr. K's expertise and said that I don’t want them small I want them to look perfect , and I won’t be able to tell as I’ll be asleep once they are lifted , he said he really felt I didn’t need them , I then said if you lift them and they look small I want implants put in , but again left it up to his knowledge
"I was very happy as he truely listened to me as when I woke I was very happy as I had the lift and he took a look and put the 300cc in - so they were perfect size x As for my tummy it was amazing , Exactly as I expected - but my legs was a different story , after a few discussions I decided the keg lift that I was booked in for wasn’t what I actually wanted , I wanted the outsides focussed on , so I Ended up having vaser lipo to sides and back - so I went from an 8 hour op to a 3-4 hour op , and to top it off I got a $4000 refund"
Why did you decide to come back to us to get skin removal surgery?
The care I received with my sleeve was amazing, that on its own was a great factor, but it was also so much cheaper and the time was better managed in Thailand for recovery etc. - Thailand original quote 38k ended up getting 4K back. I was in hospital for 11 days and had another 17 days in the hotel with nurse visits every second day if I needed them, and I could also get on the Destination Beauty bus anytime I wanted to go to the hospital - The care didn’t stop till I left the country. I’m Australia I was quoted 66k And it would take 8-9 months to do all the surgeries with recovery etc. I also know running businesses etc. if I did it at home I would still keep working even though I wasn’t supposed to, so being so far away in Thailand, I actually did relax and start my recovery.
How was the process with Destination Beauty from the beginning? Is your Rep supportive?
I had a different rep for sleeve and skin removal, but both were amazing, they helped me from start to finish, any questions I had answered as soon as they could - a very pleasant experience.
Your impressive/fun experience in Thailand
I met so many wonderful people in Thailand , a few locals but mostly other Destination Beauty patients , we all had a great bond, we went shopping, went to see sights, and went to lunches and dinners - most of my meals were from NAGA, sonny that owns the shop is amazing, the meals are so cheap and so good - and it’s right opposite the hotel so all of us DB people would meet in the foyer and cross the road - if you’re ever there ask to sign the visitor book … more people need to sign it, I was the last one in 2019 to fight it before all the lockdowns, and then the first one to start it again in 2020 … make sure you ask for it
Any words to support those who're struggle with their weight or sagging skin?
Do it !!!!! Don’t procrastinate, it is the best decision in my life, it changed my life completely, I am now the best me I can be - Don’t do it for anyone else do it for yourself .. you will not regret it ….
