“Hi my recovery was really straight forward, I followed the instructions I was given at the  hospital in regards to aftercare. Things like when to apply scar creams and using deodorant. I went back to work 4 weeks after surgery and was careful about lifting and stretching my arms too much. I kept wearing my sleeve compressions for 9 weeks (usually about 23 hours a day). The only issue I had was my stitches weren't ready to come out before I  left the hospital and because we were stopping in Kuala Lumpur on the way home they were about 3 days overdue to be removed.”
