In March 2026, Courtney travelled to Thailand for her first round of procedures with Destination Beauty. She underwent a Semi-Circumferential Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, Mons Lift, Liposuction of the upper abdomen and love handles, Breast Augmentation with Breast Lift (325 M+), Arm Lift, Upper Back Lift and Side Lift. Due to the number of procedures involved, her surgeon recommended splitting her surgeries into two separate trips to avoid putting too much strain on her body. Six months later, in September 2026, Courtney returned to Thailand for her second round of surgery. This time, she underwent a Reverse Tummy Tuck and skin excision on her right side, with a total of 660 grams of excess skin removed. Just three days after her second surgery, Courtney reported feeling well and was preparing to leave hospital. She experienced only mild soreness and shared that she no longer needed pain medication. Having completed two surgery trips to Thailand, Courtney was happy to share her experience and advice for others considering surgery after significant weight loss. ## Quick Q&A with Courtney *Answers adapted from Courtney's video interview.* **Q: Why did you decide to have your surgeries in two separate trips?** My doctor recommended splitting the procedures into two trips to avoid putting too much pressure on my body. **Q: How was your recovery after your second surgery?** I was feeling really good by day three! I only had some mild soreness and didn't even need Panadol or other pain medication. **Q: How did the cost compare with Australia?** My second surgery cost just over $5,000, compared with quotes of around $20,000 back home in Australia. **Q: What advice would you give others considering surgery after major weight loss?** I'd encourage anyone considering it to listen carefully to their doctor and nurses and follow their advice throughout the process. --- Courtney's journey highlights her determination following a 70kg weight loss and her experience of completing two stages of body contouring surgery in Thailand. *Every patient's surgical plan and recovery experience is different. Procedures carry risks, and individual outcomes vary.* ### Courtney Lost 70 kg After Gastric Sleeve Surgery   ![Screenshot 2026-10-22 093928](https://news.destinationbeauty.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-10-22%20093928.png?width=796&height=889&name=Screenshot%202026-10-22%20093928.png)   ## How to learn more about skin removal surgery in Thailand 1\.
