"My time to share my before pics!
My surgery is Monday 27th February with Dr Ring.
So 2015 I had the sleeve and lost 40kgs. Due to stress at work I put 20kgs back on so my surgeon suggested the bypass. I had that in 2019. Since the bypass I lost 32kgs.
My heaviest was 144kgs
My current is 92kgs
My BMI is not ideal for skin removal so I’m very grateful to Dr Ring for taking me on.
I’m not expecting a miracle!
Right now all I need is all this loose skin removed as I’ve just started to get osteoarthritis in my right knee and I want to lighten the load for the pain.
As I heal I will then book more surgery as I go.
On Monday I am having:
An extended Tummy Tuck
A breast lift with reduction
An arm lift
A back lift
I will be back end of the year for a thigh lift and butt lift as I want to lose more fat around my knees and thighs.
Next year I hope to come back for a facelift and maybe some lipo and depending on my boobs if I think I need them or not implants.
I would also like vaginoplasty so everything is put back in place.
Initial surgery was done with super but for the rest I’m just going to make higher voluntary payments to ATO so I get the payment back in my return each year.
I currently do $650 a pay so I get almost $20k back around tax time. I’m going to start making $1000 a pay voluntary until all my surgery is complete which should take it over $28k a year on my return.
I’ve added that in so people can see how you can save for surgery. I’ve used super for my bypass and first round of skin removal. My health insurance AHM paid for my gastric sleeve" - Amanda
